E5 Kasey Dennies

Tuesday Feb 20, 2024

Tuesday Feb 20, 2024

Kasey holds a master's degree in kinesiology; she chairs the science department at Cabrini High School. As a high school athlete, Kasey was a key member of the Cabrini basketball team and the volleyball team that won back-to-back state championships in volleyball. She was a two-sport athlete in college. Ten years ago, Kasey returned to Cabrini as a coach and teacher. Her coaching returned Cabrini to the elite program that it had been when she was a player. She coached the Crescents to state runner-up finishes in 2015, 2017, 2018, and 2020, as well as, a state championship in 2019. A few years ago, Kasey retired from coaching to devote time to her young family and to teaching. This is just the tip of the iceberg, but the space available for the description will run out, as will my time to write it.

E2 Junior Matheu

Tuesday Feb 13, 2024

Tuesday Feb 13, 2024

Junior is the assessor for Tangipahoa Parish.
In the second episode of the What About You podcast, we kick-off with a brief conversation about the Super Bowl between the Chiefs and the 49ers. We then transition towards a more spiritual side, leading into a prayer before delving into real estate appraisal.
The second half of the episode actually gets interesting, a variety of topics and memories from long ago. Experience a time when living in Metairie meant living out in the woods, and there were bonfires on Bonnabel Boulevard.
Tune in for a great mix of sports, spirituality, and profession-centered conversation.
